How Do Stupid People Keep Their Jobs?

I'm kinda sad today. A bunch of friends in the same 'industry' just got their walking papers yesterday. Their director is a self-serving moron who's been trying to get rid of them for about three years. Claiming the current economic woes require cuts, he's slashing everyone who knows his mistakes - the smart ones. He's been forcing them out since he started - him and his idiot apprentice. The apprentice once forced out a friend
because she was 'too creative'. She's dumber than a brick and gets rid of anyone who notices.
I'm trying to do what I can for them, but there's really not much you can do.
 
If you don't understand the 'business', there's no way you can see how horrible this man is doing his job. He's flash and no substance. It used to be run by the best and the brightest, but he's said himself, he wants 'generic' employees. If everyone is dumber than him, he looks good. God help us!

Those who are left are keeping their heads down. They've been doing it since he started. Don't think, don't show you can do too much, scrape by, and hope he doesn't realize you're smart. The inmates are running the
institution. :(
